Why it’s important to take your dog outside
Time outdoors is about far more than exercise. For dogs, it plays a key role in both physical and mental wellbeing.
Regular outings help keep joints mobile, muscles strong and weight under control. Even gentle walks support heart health and digestion, particularly for older dogs.
The mental benefits are just as important. New smells, sounds and environments provide vital stimulation. Sniffing helps dogs process their world and can be deeply calming, reducing stress and anxiety.
Outdoor time also supports healthy behaviour. Dogs who are able to explore regularly are often more settled at home and less likely to develop boredom related behaviours.
For some owners, getting outside is not always possible due to illness, mobility issues or other circumstances. In these cases, there are still ways to support your dog’s wellbeing. Indoor enrichment, food puzzles, scent games, short training sessions and supervised garden time can all help keep dogs mentally engaged. If friends, family or professional dog walkers are available, even occasional outings can make a difference.
Every dog is different. What matters most is providing regular stimulation and movement that suits their age, health and individual needs.

Why we love what we do
Helping pets feel better and helping the people who love them understand what’s going on is what matters most to us. Clear explanations can make stressful situations feel more manageable and help people feel confident in the decisions they’re making.
Over time, those conversations turn into long relationships. For some families, we’ve been looking after generations of pets. Knowing what’s usual for them and noticing when something isn’t quite right comes from that familiarity and trust.
We’re fortunate to work with clients who know their pets well and trust us to support them through every stage of their lives.
Even on the harder days, working alongside colleagues and clients who genuinely care is what makes this profession the best.

Bunnies might be small, but they`re full of surprises:
• They can leap up to 3 metres in a single bound.
• Their teeth grow continuously, so chewing is essential.
• They communicate with subtle body language and soft sounds you might miss.
Rabbits are naturally alert and can become stressed easily if they feel unsupported or restrained. Calm movements, steady hands and proper support help them feel secure and reduce the risk of injury.
If you have a bunny at home, handling them with patience and care can make a big difference to their confidence and wellbeing.
